Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
Petrak’s engineering and design team specializes in precise piping and instrumentation diagrams that show the piping of the process flow together with the installed equipment and instrumentation. These diagrams feature all piping including the sequence of branches, reducers, valves, equipment, instrumentation and control interlocks. Plants use the diagrams to operate a skid-mounted process system.

Ready for Fabrication Drawings
Our seasoned personnel are prepared to render detailed fabrication drawings that show the proposed material, shape, size and assembly of gas and fluid system parts, in addition to how a unit will be installed. The drawings also typically include all weld details and a material parts list identifying those used to build the fabrication. Supporting notes or reference documents describe the heat-treatment and stress-relieving requirements before, during and after completion of the fabrication process. Dimensions and relevant linear and geometric tolerances are indicated as well.
