Piggable Header Skid
Petrak Industries have fabricated multiple piggable headers on a single skid (The example, sold to a specialty oil blending company in an effort to automate an entire blending process, has three.) It measures 10 by 40 feet and has a painted carbon steel base with six base oil and seven additive lines in three-inch painted carbon steel piping.
Piggable Header 3D model Working with a third-party engineering firm and the end user, we designed the entire skid, utilizing software to avoid piping interference, maximize space usage, ease manufacturing, and provide an accurate Bill of Material. The consulting firm provided the P&ID and the project was completed us including procurement, fabrication, control panel, and PLC programming.
